DESCRIPTION

The National Organization for Women is the largest grassroots organization of feminist activists in the United States. NOW has hundreds of thousands of contributing supporters and members in chapters in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Since its founding in 1966, NOW’s purpose is to take action through intersectional grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life. 

NOW works specifically to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all sectors of society; to secure abortion, birth control and reproductive rights for all women; to end all forms of violence against women; to eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia; and to promote equality and justice in our society.

This donor file works well for political mailers, humanitarian, relief and rescue efforts, educational offers, environmental offers, lesbian and gay mailers, women’s publications and catalogs, food banks, public TV and radio memberships, cultural and social issues, and women’s offers of all types.

In order to waive the non-reciprocal fee a mailer must have 5,000 names available to reciprocate.
